我解决了这个问题：
- 将Lubuntu的版本升级到15.10（无xorg.conf）。
- 切换OEM DP – > mDP电缆，转而使用DP – > DP。
在bios启动屏幕中，我仍然在启动时获得闪烁（进入省电模式），但是一旦grub接管，一切都很顺利。
为了记录，使用运行Fedora 21（LXDE）的Dell M4400的另一个设置没有问题，这导致我尝试升级Lubuntu。
当我在Lubuntu设置上使用专有的nVidia驱动程序（v352）时，显示器与运行neuveau的戴尔笔记本电脑一样好用。
没想到升级我的显示器设置会吞噬我一周的时间……
